DESCRIPTION:The Alzheimer Society of Muskoka is hosting our annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s to create awareness and support families in Muskoka – Parry Sound. Every day someone is touched by dementia\, whether it’s a relative\, a friend\, co-worker or someone in your community. The Alzheimer’s Society of Muskoka is one of the few charities in Muskoka where all funds raised actually stay in our community. On Sunday\, June 2nd we will be walking the trails at Kerr Park in Bracebridge. \nRegistration opens at 9:30 AM and the walks starts at 10:30 AM. They are our link to the past and this planet. They are the foundation of healthy aquatic ecosystems and they can live a very long time. But they are under threat of extinction…we are losing too many turtles. The Land Between is a landscape of hope. Also known as Cottage Country\, this region extends from Georgian Bay to the Ottawa Valley\, and it has more turtles than anywhere in the province. If we are to recover turtle populations and keep our lakes healthy\, this is the place it can be done. Learn about these amazing creature and this unique landscape at this presentation. Learn how to help turtle recovery efforts and how groups have banded together to support these outcomes. \n\nAdmission is by donation.

DESCRIPTION:The Elderberries Choir has been entertaining the Gravenhurst community since 1991 with seasonal concerts and bringing music to local nursing and retirement homes.
