DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the Friends of the Library Annual General Meeting May 29\, 2024 at 11am located at the Port Carling branch. The Friends of the Library are a group of individuals across the Township of Muskoka Lakes dedicated to promoting\, supporting and improving the services and facilities at both branches in Bala and Port Carling. The group raises funds through an annual silent auction to purchase equipment and materials that are not included through the regular library budget. They are actively seeking to increase their membership; it is free to be a Friend. Find out more about how you can volunteer\, the time commitment is small\, but the impact is big.

DESCRIPTION:If you have a child in Grades 1 through 6 that loves to sing\, call (705 765-5650) or email (muskokalakes@pclib.ca) the Port Carling library to register. Practices run every week on Wednesdays\, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. at the Port Carling library. Final concert on the night of June 12th. \nIf you have a child that loves to sing but is nervous about performing\, this is a great no pressure\, fun group setting. You are encouraged to come on the first night and meet Choirmaster Sarah Lundy and give it a try\, and then decide! \nFree to participate with a MLP Library card.
