DESCRIPTION:Maureen Jennings: Murdoch and Beyond – Thursday May 1\, 2025 at 7:30pm\nBorn in the UK and now living in Toronto. She is best known for her Murdoch Mysteries series\, which was adapted to film and television. It is entering its eighteenth season and airs in one hundred and twenty territories world wide. She is creative consultant for the show and writes a script for each season.\nShe has been nominated several times for the CWC awards of excellence.\nIn 2011\, she was awarded the Grant Allen Award for contribution to her genre. In 2024\, she received the Grand Master Award from Crime Writers of Canada. Her latest series\, set in the turbulent pre WW2 period\, features a Private Investigator named Charlotte Frayne. There are five books in the series\, the most recent being\, MARCH ROARS.
