It was established as a mandatory experience to reflect the school’s commitment to outdoor education and building resilience—values championed by the founding headmaster\, R.H. Perry. \nIn recent years\, the event has also served as a fundraiser for the Robert Carreau Memorial Fund\, which supports the development and maintenance of the school’s trail systems in honour of a late Head of School. Reward: A notable tradition is the post-run barbecue. Students who finish within a specific time are rewarded with a lobster dinner! \n\n\nThis years event will start and finish at RLC.
