DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Hekkla will take place on Friday\, April 24th at Rosseau Lake College! \n\n\n\n\nRosseau Lake College has been running The Hekkla since 1977. \nThe event is deeply woven into their school’s history and identity\, serving as a signature personal challenge for the community. It was established as a mandatory experience to reflect the school’s commitment to outdoor education and building resilience—values championed by the founding headmaster\, R.H. Perry. \nIn recent years\, the event has also served as a fundraiser for the Robert Carreau Memorial Fund\, which supports the development and maintenance of the school’s trail systems in honour of a late Head of School. Reward: A notable tradition is the post-run barbecue. Students who finish within a specific time are rewarded with a lobster dinner! \n\n\nThis years event will start and finish at RLC. After the run there will be a festival vibe with lots of exciting activities from games to Hekkla T-Shirt Making! \nRegister. Choose your Hekkla challenge!
