DESCRIPTION:SOLO DANCE WALK FOR THE HUDSON REGIONAL CANCER CENTRE\nJoin the community on Saturday\, June 20\, 2026\, in Bracebridge for the Solo Dance Walk for the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre — a heartfelt fundraiser celebrating strength\, resilience\, and the power of showing up for one another. \nHosted by Muskoka resident Kate\, who was diagnosed with metastatic triple negative breast cancer in 2025\, this uplifting event marks one year since her diagnosis and supports the exceptional care provided by RVH’s Hudson Regional Cancer Centre in Barrie. \nAfter months of chemotherapy and ongoing treatment every three weeks\, traditional fundraising events like running or cycling aren’t possible for Kate — but dance walking is. What started as a simple way to keep moving through treatment has become a joyful community event focused on hope\, connection\, and raising important funds for cancer care in Muskoka. \nEvent Details\nDate: Saturday\, June 20\, 2026Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.Location: Former Bracebridge & Muskoka Lakes Secondary School Track(Use Armstrong Street entrance) \nThe Morning Includes:\n\n1-hour community Dance Walk\nGreat music and fun atmosphere\nSilent auction\nPrize for “Best Cheer Squad Sign”\nEvent-day draws\, including a 2-night stay at Sherwood Inn on Lake Joseph\nCoffee and treats available while supplies last\n\nNo dance experience required — participants are welcome to dance\, walk\, cheer\, or simply enjoy the morning.
