The Friends of the Library are a group of individuals across the Township of Muskoka Lakes dedicated to promoting\, supporting and improving the services and facilities at both branches in Bala and Port Carling. The group raises funds through an annual silent auction to purchase equipment and materials that are not included through the regular library budget. They are actively seeking to increase their membership; it is free to be a Friend. Find out more about how you can volunteer\, the time commitment is small\, but the impact is big.
