DESCRIPTION:Wayne Strongman\, CM\, Mus. Bac.\, MA\, one of Canada’s most distinguished music\ndirectors\, brings his talent and vast musical experience to Christ Church and Muskoka.\nThis summer\, Strongman has invited guest artists to help the vibrant Christ Church\ncongregation achieve its goals: to reach the wider summer community with a\nstimulating program of events and services that will enrich the spiritual life of the\ncommunity.\nThe second in the Gazebo Concert series\, will feature The Art of Portuguese Fado with\nmusicians Jessica Lloyd and Louis Simao\,\nFrom concert hall to opera stage\, from studio sessions to nightclubs\, Jessica Lloyd’s\ngenre-crossing vocal abilities never fail to impress. When she is not on stage\, Jessica is\nthe Head of Music at Havergal College. Louis Simao has been composing\, performing\nand recording as a multi-instrumentalist in a variety of genres for over twenty years. In\nNovember of 2017\, he was named World Solo Artist of the Year by the Canadian Folk\nMusic Awards\, and in April of 2018\, was nominated by the Independent Music Awards for\n2018 World Beat Artist of the Year.\nChrist Church\, Windermere on Lake Rosseau\, Muskoka\, has offered year round services\nin the Anglican tradition since 1904.
