Please gather before 11am. \nIn Rosseau\, at Rosseau Memorial Hall starting 10:45am. \nThe Royal Canadian Legion\, Branch 424\, invites interested parties to make arrangements for the placement of a wreath or cross on the occasion of Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Wahta Cenotaph on November 11\, 2023 at 11 A.M. Following the ceremony\, everyone has been invited inside for snacks and refreshments.  Branch 424 will also be open afterwards. \nThe placement is done in memory of a loved one or in tribute to the thousands of our service people who served in conflicts in far-off lands. The proceeds from the wreaths\, crosses and poppy donations are directed to meeting the needs of veterans and their families who reside in the Bala area. \nPlease feel free to contact Bala Legion Branch 424 at (705) 762-3913 to place an order and or complete this form and return to the Legion. DESCRIPTION:Come join The Bala Curling Club for a strategy Clinic on Saturday October 28th from 3:00-5:00pm at the Clubhouse. Off Ice session taught by CurlON Instructor. This 2 hour off-ice clinic will address advanced strategy and would be appropriate for experienced curlers with vice/skip experience. This clinic will build on the basic concepts of strategy by introducing concepts like shot tolerance\, end plans\, game plans\, angles\, drag effect and will provide time to actively engage through discussions regarding different shot scenarios.
