DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Muskoka Men of Song are proud to announce their Annual Christmas Concert at the Gravenhurst Opera House on Dec 8 at 7:00pm. For many years this annual event has run in the Christmas season for residents of Muskoka. The funds raised at this event are used to support aspiring musicians in the form of bursaries. The Sean Kelly Bursary Fund has distributed over $68\,000 to worth recipients since its inception. This season’s concert\, on the theme of “Let There be Peace” has been inspired by the many troubled spots in our current world. Please gather before 11am. \nIn Rosseau\, at Rosseau Memorial Hall starting 10:45am. \nThe Royal Canadian Legion\, Branch 424\, invites interested parties to make arrangements for the placement of a wreath or cross on the occasion of Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Wahta Cenotaph on November 11\, 2023 at 11 A.M. Following the ceremony\, everyone has been invited inside for snacks and refreshments.  Branch 424 will also be open afterwards. \nThe placement is done in memory of a loved one or in tribute to the thousands of our service people who served in conflicts in far-off lands. The proceeds from the wreaths\, crosses and poppy donations are directed to meeting the needs of veterans and their families who reside in the Bala area. \nPlease feel free to contact Bala Legion Branch 424 at (705) 762-3913 to place an order and or complete this form and return to the Legion.
