DESCRIPTION:Come out June 21st to the Muskoka Lakes Library in Port Carling for Felted Strawberry Beading and Teachings! \nJune is known as the month of Strawberries\, the first fruit. Join\, Diligent Harvester\, Chair of the Muskoka Indigenous Friends Cultural Centre (https://mifc.ca) to make a simple felt beaded strawberry filled with aromatic cedar\, made to be pocket-sized to remind people of the teachings as they carry on with day to day activities after this event. Diligent Harvester is a member of the Indigenous Arts Collective of Canada (IACC)\, and offers a safe place of discussion on this journey of Truth and Reconciliation. \nAll ages are welcome.
