First, learn about the project by reading the Township page and/or watching the attached video by visiting here:
You will see these ‘alternative’ solutions for rebuilding the bridge have been identified as follows:
- Do Nothing
- Remove Bridge
- Rehabilitate Existing Bridge
- Replace Bridge
Here’s how to comment:
Download the Township Comment Card PDF by clicking here: Bala Falls Road Bridge Comment Card PDF
Next follow these steps:
- Fill in the Comment Card
- Scan it to your Computer
- Send it via email to Tim Sopkowe in Township Public Works at email@example.com
OR Fill it in and Drop it in the Township Mail Box on the Township Building at 1 Bailey Street Port Carling
CAN’T SCAN A DOCUMENT?
Alternatively, put your filled in Comment Card and drop it in to the BLACK Mail Box at the Chamber Office door in Bala by 9am Friday, December 4. We will scan and email the Comment Card for you to ensure it makes it to Township by deadline.
Questions? Contact the Chamber before Friday, Dec. 4 at firstname.lastname@example.org or call Norah at 705 706-2122.
Please note: The Chamber has provided input that the bridge (if it needs refurbishing as we’re told it does) should be rehabilitated or replaced… AND should this happen, the Chamber has requested the bridge be designed to look as much as possible like the historic wooden bridge the community loves so much.
