Bala Plein Air at the Rosseau Village

A busy little town in the Township of Seguin with buildings, waterfront and people milling about for our plein air morning. The village sits at the top of Lake Rosseau, a favourite destination for foodies and antique collectors.
DIRECTIONS: About a 35 drive minutes (41km) north from Bala or 45 minute drive from Gravenhurst. Meet at the Pavillion in the Waterfront Park. We can fan out from there to find spots in the village or setup easels at the sandy beach near the boat launch ramp. We will meet back at this point for our group photo. Parking is available nearby. PALETTE SUGGESTIONS: Phatlo blue, soft whites, pinks and oranges and whatever you like for including people in your plein air.
AMENITIES: There are places to picnic and a new restaurant we might want to checkout for lunch after pleinair. Rosseau Pizzeria -irresistible authentic Italian cuisine overlooks Lake Rosseau.
