July 9 – Muskoka Lakes Museum, Port Carling

Plant your easel for pleinair in the gardens of the Muskoka Lakes Museum, located in the James Bartleman Island Park in Port Carling. We will meet at 9:00 AM and paint til 12:00 noon. Artists are welcome to tour the museum afterwards – a small admission fee applies.

A plethora of water views on all sides of the Museum building await at this island location. Public washrooms are nearby on the grounds.

GETTING THERE: Port Carling is located on the Indian River between Lake Rosseau and Lake Muskoka. Take Hwy #118 to Port Carling. Google Maps Link Free Parking is available in the town in various lots. Pack light and count on a short walk from your vehicle into the park along the paved path to the Museum.
