Chamber Orchestra & MPO Singers in Port Carling

The Muskoka Philharmonic Orchestra’s Chamber Orchestra and MPO Singers come together for an afternoon of classical music on Saturday, October 3 at 3pm at St. James Anglican Church in Port Carling.
The program will feature works by Handel, Fauré, Bach and more, performed by two of the Philharmonic’s smaller ensembles. The Chamber Orchestra is a 12-member group created to bring intimate classical performances to smaller venues across Muskoka, while the MPO Singers feature skilled local vocalists performing both classical and popular repertoire.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for young people 25 and under, and free for children 9 and under. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. Advance tickets are available online, with limited availability at the door.
The Muskoka Philharmonic was founded in 2022 to create more opportunities for local musicians to perform orchestral music for local audiences and has continued to grow its presence across Muskoka.
