Graffiti Embroidery with Barbara Klunder

Transform stitching into bold wearable art during this hands-on workshop with acclaimed artist Barbara Klunder at the Muskoka Chautauqua Summer Festival.

Participants will explore Barbara’s expressive approach to embroidery, known as “graffiti embroidery,” while learning about the history of the craft and hearing stories from her diverse artistic career in design, costume, posters and textiles.

Guests are encouraged to bring a garment and a few simple sewing supplies to embroider directly onto their own clothing.

This workshop is welcoming for both beginners and experienced makers, and offers a fun chance to create something truly one of a kind.
