MDC Summer Lecture Series
July 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Muskoka Discovery Centre invites curious minds to take part in its Summer Lecture Series, presented in partnership with TALL.
Once a month in July, August and September, these lecture-style sessions will spark curiosity, conversation and lifelong learning. July and August feature special Rewind Sessions of popular past lectures, followed by discussion and insights from subject matter experts. In September, participants will enjoy a live presentation featuring faculty from Lakehead University.
Each session runs from 10:00 a.m. to noon and includes refreshments and a Q&A.
Upcoming topics include Canada and the World in Perilous Times with Adam Chapnick on July 2, Cognitive Aging: It’s a No Brainer with Dr. Heather Palmer on August 6, and Reading the World: The Case for Geographic Literacy in Education with Dr. Gary Pluim on September 16.
