Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in Wahta on Sunday, June 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wahta Administration Building.
This community celebration offers a day of culture, learning, family fun and connection. Activities include a fish skin tanning workshop, canoeing, an Ontario wildlife presentation at 1:00 p.m., lunch provided by The Smokin’ Birds, and more.
Guests are encouraged to bring fishing rods, sunscreen and bathing suits to make the most of the day.
