PARO International Women’s Day Event

We are pleased to invite you to PARO’s International Women’s Day event, taking place on March 5th at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. This will be a hybrid event, offering the option to participate either in person or virtually.

Guided by the theme #GiveToGain, this event brings together women entrepreneurs, business support organizations, and community leaders to celebrate achievements and strengthen collaboration across rural and remote communities.

The day will begin with pop-up booths, and networking, followed by a welcome from MC Melissa Cook, an opening by Chrystal Tabobandung, and remarks from special guests. Rosalind Lockyer, Founder and CEO of PARO, will present insights from PARO’s Collaboration for Transformation research and a keynote address by Maryam Monsef, Founder and CEO of ONWARD.

Afternoon opportunities to connect through pop-up tables, PARO ConneX discussions, and Collaboration Innovation Tables (CITs) and will conclude with closing reflections from Juliet Kego and Rosalind Lockyer.

This dynamic event provides emerging and scaling entrepreneurs with the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts, policymakers, and business support organizations to explore innovative solutions and address systemic barriers faced by women entrepreneurs.
