We have a position available for a Chamber Member interested in serving on our Chamber Board of Directors, and we invite you to put your name forward by April 7th latest.

Include a brief description of why you would like to join the Chamber Board, a brief bio or resume of your work experience, and please include a phone number as our President Spencer Morland may call to chat with you and confirm your interest.
What’s next: Your nomination will be put forward at our April Meeting to the Board Nominating Committee for approval. Once nominated, we’ll ask for a photo of you, and then the entire Board of Directors is voted on by Chamber Members at our Annual Meeting on May 12.
You can be the owner of a Chamber Member business or an employee of a Chamber Member organization to join our Board. At least one year of Chamber Membership is preferred, but not mandatory. We look for people across industry sectors, across our wide geography, and with different skill sets. Experience with governance from previous Board experience is an asset.
GOOD TO KNOW: When you sign on to any non profit Board like a Chamber, there are some boxes you need to check. You must be 18 years of age, a Member of the Chamber, and you can not be an undischarged bankrupt (rules as per non profit legislation).
We meet 7-8 times a year (we do not meet in July or December). Meetings are presently Tuesday mornings from 8:30am to 10am. An FAQ document is attached for frequently asked questions about Board service and the status of the Chamber. About Serving on our Board-Q&A 2022
